“Bar-Jesus”

Does one know how it feels to find out that I will end up being blind. This may come to you as a surprise but I wish everyone would believe that they are, special!( Mark 6 verse 4): But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” In (Romans 13 verse 1): Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Maybe you’ve even heard the saying that no one is a prophet in their own land? The phrase has its origins in (Luke 4:24) meaning that this phenomenon is by no means new. The basic idea is that people take for granted the things they’re familiar with. A Prophet is a divine inspiration. (in the Old Testament) a person chosen to speak for God and to guide the people of Israel: Moses was the greatest of Old Testament prophets. A prophet teaches truth and interprets the word of God. He calls the unrighteous to repent. He receives revelations and directions from the Lord for our benefit. He may see into the future and foretell coming events so that the world may be warned. Loving God and neighbor is the culmination of the Mosaic law. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing (Isaiah: 10 v 27). A leader who takes advantage of the poor is like a hard rain that destroys the crops. This is the case with, “Bar- Jesus.” He(I )claims to speak with the authority of the name of Jesus (as his very name indicates), but he(I )does not speak what the Lord has commanded. He(I )perverts it. It is Barnabas and Saul who speak rightly the teaching of the Lord, and that results in believing. *Exousia*
